Water Walks: Adham Faramawy on the Thames | Tate

In the second episode of Tate Modern's Water Walks, I explore the Thames around East India Dock, uncovering connections between the Thames and the Nile.

This video was produced in conjunction with a performance presented as part of the three day symposium Waterways: Arteries, Rhythms and Kinship at Tate Modern in September 2024.

Poetry in the Electromagnetic Universe

I'm talking on a panel alongside poet and artist Caspar Heinemann chaired by Dr Zara Dinnen, lecturer in twenty-first century literature at Queen Mary University. The talk will respond to the work of artist Takis, thinking about how artists use technology now.

Talk at Tate Modern

I was part of a panel discussion on narrative at Tate Modern in London. I spoke alongside sound artist Beatrice Dillon and we were chaired by artist and writer Ella Finer. 

The talk was held in response to Christian Marclay's piece The Clock, which is currently on show.
