E-Vapor-8 Study Day

I did a short presentation in Sheffield as part of the Site Gallery Study Day for the E-Vapor-8 exhibition. 

The speakers included curator Francesca Gavin, artists Jeremy Deller, Adham Faramawy, Harry Burden, Lucy Stokton, Rhys Coren, DJ Winston Hazel, Dr Alice O'Grady teacher of applied performance at Leeds University and author Luke Bainbridge.

E-Vapor-8 Study Day

Site Gallery are holding a study day in Sheffield to talk about the relationship between contemporary art practice and rave.

Speakers will include writer and curator Francesca Gavin, artists Jeremy Deller, Adham Faramawy, Harry Burden, Lucy Stokton and Rhys Coren. Also speaking will be Dj and producer Winston Hazel, Professor of applied performance Alice O'Grady and author of 'The True Story of Acid House: Britain's Last Youth Culture Revolution', Luke Bainbridge. 

They will be playing our choice of rave music and videos as well as vinyls too.

Opening night of E-Vapor-8 at Site Gallery

When: Sunday 3rd August 2014, 2pm-6pm, followed by drinks at Site

I'm in a group show curated by Francesca Gavin called E-Vapor-8. The show is about the influence of early 90s rave music on contemporary art.
